I think Blaze liked it! He responded well to the bridle and went in the directions I would ask him to go. I need to put in a couple more holes under the nose piece because it is a bit too big for him but other than that I went for an hour trail ride with him yesterday and he did just fine! Even when I was flopping around in the saddle (he is a Standardbred and still learning how to break his pace so it is really quite comical to see my best friend and I ride our Standardbreds and try get them to canter). But yes, I am very happy with my purchase and I would love to eventually get a Barefoot saddle, as well. Thanks for all of your help Sonja!

Just returned from my first ride on my new saddle and just love it!! It is very stable and comfy and “Sokki” and I had a wonderful ride today – of course a beautiful sunny day is just the icing on the cake. I really like the short flaps and freedom it gives my legs. A few of my riding buddies will be trying it out – unfortunately I leave for a business trip at the end of the week so won’t be up again for 2 weeks. But luckily I will have most of the summer off to enjoy. I’ll try it on the little mare Leika when I get back. Take care and thanks for my lovely saddle!
Hope you had a great weekend… The sun finally came out and I got to try my new saddle… And I’m loving it! It does need some getting used to. It’s quite different than a treed saddle and I was feeling a bit shaky and awkward on a full gallop. But the way back was already much better… My horse seems to be loving it, and it’s so comfortable… Thanks again for your help and prompt service…

I just thought I would let you know that I have been out in my new cheyenne drytex a couple of times now and I LOVE IT! Even better than that my foxtrotter loves it too! I haven’t had the chance to try it on my quarter horse yet but it fits my kentucky mountain gelding well (I just got the right length of girth for him today, so I hope to ride him in it soon too). I love the comfort of it and my foxtrotter is gaiting alot smoother now that her movements are no longer restricted by a treed saddle. I feel very secure in the saddle and I no longer have sore knees or ankles after riding and my butt and back are ten times better than in my old saddle (which I used to feel very comfortable in! who knew!). As you had predicted I am loving it, I now kringe at the thought of putting anything but a barefoot saddle on the back of my horses (or under my butt for that matter:). Thanks for such a great saddle, when I get some pictures of my horses with it on I will send you some, that way you will be able to see the smiles on all of our faces!
Thanks again, Beth, Paisley ON
I finally got to ride in the Cherokee today and I love it. It is quite a bit longer in length than the Cheyenne even though on the sizing chart the Cherokee is supposed to be shorter than the Cheyenne.
Thanks for all the help you gave me, I really appreciate it. If I need another saddle sometime I will definitely buy it through you. Also, if anyone at the barn is interested in a Barefoot I will pass your name along to them. Thanks again, happy riding.

Yahoo! The saddles arrived today. Didn’t think I would see them so soon. Perfect day too as I got to try them right away.
The Cheyenne is perfect! I rode our older mare with it and she loved it (and so did I). Moved very freely and was able to lower her head … nose right to the ground. Have not seen her do that before. She’s an older Arab lady and rather hot to go. Perfect ride!!! I was very happy.
I am absolutely in love with the way the Lexington looks and feel. Beautiful saddle. I rode my Quarter Cross (my “problem back” horse) with it and was pleasently surprised that Indy had room for his wither with this saddle which he did not with the previous treeless model that I had tried a long time ago. The saddle was suuuuper comfortable and I felt fantastic and secure in it. I am really happy with the saddles. They are super comfortable and secure. Felt great to ride in them and can’t wait to go on longer rides in them. I think both horses enjoyed them too. Indy had a lot more “go” than what is normal for him.

just wanted to let you know that I am very happy with both my saddle purchases: the Lexington and the Cheyenne.
I have attached a picture of my old boy Indy and I in our new outfit. Love it!!
I will be in touch soon to order a few more items and possibly a pony saddle eventually.
Also have been letting a few friends try my saddles and they are thinking of purchasing one as well. I’ve passed on your info and hopefully you will be able to make a few more horses happy:)

I wanted to write to sincerely thank you for your help selecting just the right saddle for us. Your patience and guidance was proven invaluable during the ” trial and error” process. As for the Lexington, I am extremely happy with the quality, comfort and security this saddle offers. I also found it to be very well balanced and actually quite versatile. During my first couple of rides I noticed an immediate difference in Murphy’s behaviour. He was exceptionally relaxed and willingly displayed total freedom in his stride throughout all transitions. With his head low, loose back and giant stride we demonstrated a beautiful in hand gallop, I knew I had a happy horse!
Thank you again from 2 very satisfied customers, Murphy and I look forward to working with you in the near future as we continue our treeless, bitless and barefoot adventures!
I purchased the Arizona a few weeks ago and just received it. I LOVE IT – and my horse ADORES it! This is the best think that could have happened to her and I wish I had discovered the saddle years ago.
Thank you so much – I have a new horse!
